In this session, Hugh Kearns will get you thinking about your research career strategically and give you the tools to increase productivity. Find out how to:

> Manage your time in a busy research environment

> Publish strategically

> Link publications to grants

> Use the team (or others) to increase publication productivity

> Keep track of publications to increase motivation and accountability

> Manage your publication “resources” for maximum output

> Develop the attributes of a successful (and highly productive) research leader/team.


Hugh Kearns from Thinkwell is recognised internationally as a public speaker, educator and researcher. His areas of expertise include self-management, positive psychology, work-life balance, learning and creativity. He draws on over twenty five years of experience as a leading training and development professional within the corporate, financial, education and health sectors.
